Andrew Vincent

Healthcare thinker, author, speaker and entrepreneur, based in the Cayman Islands.

I have been privileged to spend my career lifetime in healthcare. I have never been bored for a single moment. Mirroring life itself, I started out ‘in neonates’ with a biotechnology company, and now advancing towards the big 60, I find myself seeking to transform adult health, including longevity, and the healthcare vehicle that delivers it, in ways that benefit a whole population, not just the more privileged upper quartile. And that means challenging illness-centred models of care, in favour of curating a more disciplined focus on health, prevention, and long-term stewardship. I have never been contented to simply enjoy growing career or entrepreneurial success through the traditional benefits attached to that growth. I wish to have impact, on health. And it is for this reason that I define myself in four healthcare or health frames of reference; thinker, author, speaker and entrepreneur. My energy comes from there being far more to do than is yet done.
